Gothic Fortification of Prague

The Wall was constructed in 1360-62 by Charles IV. To strenghten the fortifications of The Lesser Town and the Prague Castle. Another reason was to enlarge the space for new city estates. It reached 4-4,5m and was 1,8m wide, stabilized by eight towers. This wall also had a crenellation and a tribune with loopholes.
