It was established in 1684, during Adolf Vratislav from Šternberk's times, connecting two Renaissance buildings. It was further unified by a Baroque frontispiece by G.B. Alliprandi, interiors rebuilt as well. Seat of the Parliament of the Czech Republic today.

Baroque frontispiece portraying the Crowning of Virgin Mary and the Šternberk's coat of arms with the Golden Fleece Order. Interiors with rich stuke decor by D. Frisoni.
