Gothic Tower on Charles Bridge
Staroměstská bridge tower was constructed by P. Parléř, together with Charles Bridge established in 1357. It was finished before 1380. The Eastern front is amply decored with plastics, the Western front has been damaged by cannonade during the fights with the Swedes in 1648. The tower went through a reconstruction in 1874-78 when today's roof was construncted, original Gothic paintings were renovated and added into the gateway in 1877.

Expositions

Tower interior, view over the Prague centre, outstanding exhibition of old musical instruments entitled "The Music of Tower Tribunes" - the history of brass instruments (in cooperation with The Music Museum), visitors can indulge in wonderful record music. Exhibition about astronomical and astrological contexts with Charles Bridge origins.
