National Museum - Main Building

This monumental New-Renaissance building was constructed in 1885-90 based on a project by J. Schulz. Its frontispiece is over 100m long with a frontal ramp, decored with castiron, luminous lamp posts and a group of allegorical figures.

The Prehistory of Bohemia, Moravia and Slovakia. Mineralogical and etrological collections. Palaeontological collections. Zoological Collections. Anthropology - Human Bones to Tell Their Stories. Ostheological collections. Exhibitions - the Pokoutník Gallery and the Cabinet of Books Culture.
