Description (in short)

Former one-storey Renaissance building, only its Renaissance portal is preserved today. It sustained a rebuilding in 1673-93 when it gained one more storey, its frontispiece was rebuilt in the Baroque style and replenished with two gables with skylights. House sign above the portal - two suns in a frame.

ExpositionsBaroque frontispiece. Memorial plate from 1895 by F. Houdek based on a plan by V. Oliva and on a model by V.R. Smolík. Famous restaurant in the basement.
Interesting detailPoet Jan Neruda lived here in 1845-57.
