Description (in short)

In 1591 Jan from Lobkovice unified five houses into one complex which was later rebuilt into a palace. It was then possesed by Karel from Lichtenštejn who obtained it in 1620. Its Renaissance buildings were adjoint by a Classicist front and interiors received an essential makeover, both in 1791. Part of the palace is now used for cultural purposes.

ExpositionsThe northern corner part (main seat to Karel from Lichtenštejn) has a preserved inner disposition of its Late-Renaissance building. Revivalist scholar Josef Dobrovský spent his time here in 1811-26. Occassional concerts and exhibitions (Martins Hall, Gallery).
